The BackBox Linux 1 RC is coming very soon, please wait for a few days. Until the distribution is ready, something will remain in the todo list. We suppose that the the first stable and official release will be published next month. We are sorry for this delay.

Backbox Linux is being rewritten. We are working on a new version based on Ubuntu Lucid. Among the innovations the adoption of Xfce as the desktop environment and a new PPA repository by Launchpad.
